We consider camera placement, viewing angles, cable routes, and access for future maintenance. Concealed wiring is a priority wherever the building allows it.
Our preference is a wired PoE system or quality Wi-Fi cameras with suitable recording equipment. Wireless devices can also be assessed when they better suit your space.

We prefer to select the equipment for a reliable, compatible installation. If you already own cameras, we’ll review their quality, condition, and compatibility with your system.
If a camera or recorder is unsuitable, we’ll explain why and suggest another option. Expanding an older system starts with checking what is already installed.
The practical details
Equipment, setup & support.
Camera brands and compatibility
Equipment options we can assess include Reolink, Hikvision, Lorex, Ring, and Blink. We confirm model compatibility and installation requirements for each project. Local recording and subscription-free features are not available on every system.
Storage and subscriptions
We confirm where recordings are stored, how they can be viewed or exported, and which features need a paid plan before you choose equipment. Recording quality, camera count, activity, and retention affect the storage needed.
Installation and handover
We discuss your priorities, review equipment options, and arrange a free site visit if needed. Installation includes setup, checks, and an explanation of viewing, recordings, and notifications. We provide installation and configuration; professional alarm monitoring is not part of this service.
Warranty and ongoing support
Equipment carries its manufacturer’s warranty. Our workmanship warranty lasts one year, with troubleshooting, remote adjustments, and return visits when needed to resolve issues with the agreed installation. After the first year, troubleshooting and return visits are chargeable. Additional cameras and new feature requests are quoted separately.
