We can set up lighting with a physical switch, a dimmer, or a dedicated app. A complete smart home system is not required.

If future integration matters to you, we consider it when selecting equipment. We can connect compatible lighting to your smart home now or plan for that possibility later.

We install lighting beneath steps and configure motion activation, sequential illumination, or a wall switch or dimmer to suit your staircase.

We plan and install lighting beneath kitchen cabinets to illuminate work surfaces and create a comfortable evening atmosphere.

Cabinet & interior accents

We add lighting inside cabinets and along selected interior features, with carefully positioned fixtures and concealed wiring wherever possible.

Permanent roofline & façade lighting

We install permanent outdoor lighting along rooflines and façades, including permanent Christmas lighting with colours and schedules supported by the equipment.

Patio lighting

We install permanent patio string lights and LED lighting, choosing placement and controls around how you use your outdoor space.

Landscape lighting

We plan and install LED lighting for pathways, flower beds, and planting areas, with equipment selected for its intended outdoor location.

Our outdoor service focuses on permanent installations. We do not offer temporary seasonal installation and removal.

Motion & stair sequences

We configure supported motion sensors and controllers so stair lighting can respond as you approach, including sequential step illumination where the equipment allows.

Colour & brightness

We help you choose suitable white or colour-changing lighting and configure the available brightness and colour settings to your preferences.

Schedules & simple controls

We set up supported schedules and show you how to use your switch, dimmer, or app. Compatible smart home integration is an additional option.

We discuss the look and controls you want, select and supply suitable equipment, and arrange a free site visit if needed. We then install, configure, and explain your lighting.

We prefer to choose the equipment for a compatible result. If you already have lighting products, we’ll review their quality and suitability and suggest alternatives where needed.

The practical details

Equipment, setup & support.

Equipment selection

We select fixtures, LED strips, power supplies, and controllers to suit the installation. Available colours, dimming, motion effects, and schedules depend on the chosen equipment. We confirm the features with you before installation.

Standalone controls and smart home integration

We can provide physical controls or a dedicated app without a full smart home system. Future integration depends on the products and platform selected, so we discuss that goal when planning the lighting.

Permanent outdoor lighting

We install permanent roofline, façade, patio, and landscape lighting, including permanent Christmas lighting. We assess equipment suitability, mounting, and cable routes for the location. Temporary seasonal installations and removal are not part of this service.

Warranty and ongoing support

Equipment carries its manufacturer’s warranty. Our workmanship warranty lasts one year, with troubleshooting, remote adjustments, and return visits when needed to resolve issues with the agreed installation. After the first year, troubleshooting and return visits are chargeable. Additional lighting and new automation requests are quoted separately.
